Observations :
The resort : Samoëns in the winter, more than 240 km of ski slopes situated in the Grand Massif with it's picturesque landscape. Samoëns has more to offer than just the skiing with all it's different winter activities, snowshoe walks, archery, dogs sleigh, paragliding, ice skating etc... This winter is as well the opportunity to discover the heritage of the market town at it's stone masons.
The ski : Downhill skiing : 1600m/2500m 81 lifts, 129 slopes (260 km ski runs) 15 green - 53 blue 49 red - 12 black
Non alpine ski activities : Possibilities of cross country skiing, snow shoe hiking, dog sledging , … Your accommodation : Hotel “Neige et Roc” is a very comfortable 3*** hotel with all recently renewed Savoy style rooms. At your disposal, indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness. Very good standard cooking. Warm and mountain atmosphere. Definitely a reference in the area.
Access : Geneva - 60 km / Brussels - 774 km / Lille - 738 km / Lyon - 195 km / Paris - 582 km Road : Motorway A40 Genève / Chamonix. Sortie Cluses - Scionzier (n°18), Samoëns à 20 minutes. Train : Arrival gare SNCF à Cluses (20 km), ligne St-Gervais / Le Fayet - TGV : special buses during winter. Cluses Station. Bus, transfer : Airport Geneva-Cointrin 70 km. Direct shuttle bus airoport - station. 4 departure per day (direct) from Geneva airport to Samoëns.
